Why We Give
As Christians we are called to give joyfully and generously (2 Corinthians 9:7). God modeled generosity when He gave the world His Son. In obedience to Christ, we are compelled to become more like Him through our giving. We grow spiritually as a result and reflect God’s generous nature in the world.
We give to honor the Lord for all that He has given us (Proverbs 3:9). We give because it is an act of worship that shows God is in control of our lives (Malachi 3:10). We give because everything is God’s to begin with (Psalms 24:1).
Finally, we give because of the great opportunity for Christ’s Kingdom on earth (Acts: 4:32-37). When you give, you open the door to reaching more people through the services, programs, and ministries that are committed to seeing Jesus Christ change lives!”

We have a Board of Trustees who have oversight of the financial and fiduciary obligations.
Is there a deadline for year-end gifts?
Year-end gifts must be received or postmarked before December 31.
Do you send giving statements?
Giving statements are sent yearly to everyone who makes financial gifts totaling $250 or more.
Do you allow designated giving?
Yes. Gifts can be designated or marked for capital campaigns, benevolence, specific ministry teams, or mission trips. Acceptance of a restricted or designated gift is at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
What if I have a question about church expenditures?
In addition to our yearly financial meeting with the congregation, a privilege of being a giving partner at our church is the ability to see financials. Please email us to set up an appointment.
Is the church audited?
Yes, we have a yearly external audit done by an independent CPA firm.
