What are Sonrise Life Groups?
We think it's important for every person to belong in a life group because the relationships you'll build not only bring joy to your life but they'll also help us all follow Christ. It's also a great way to help our growing church feel smaller. And, it's the best way to live out the "one anothers" we find in the Bible.

Why are life groups so important?
Life groups matter because they give us a regular space, outside of Sunday, to gather around God’s Word and help one another follow Jesus as we do life together. They don’t replace the worship service, but they extend the life of the church into living rooms and around dinner tables, where we can open Scripture, apply it to real situations, and intentionally encourage one another. Everyday moments like meals, playdates, or game nights become opportunities for genuine spiritual conversation and steady growth.
In a culture where people are becoming more disconnected by the day, life groups help us develop a greater sense of Christian community and what it means to live in God’s kingdom.
What can I expect at a Life Group gathering?
Groups are a place where people get the opportunity to pursue authentic community and spiritual growth. When you join a group, you’ll spend time socializing, learning, and praying together. All you need to do is show up, join in, and be real.
What would I be committing to with a Life Group?
Our groups usually have between 6 and 20 people and generally meet every week. We meet for around two hours. Some groups take a break during holidays and summers.
What types of groups are available?
We try to match you with a group that fits what you’re looking for, when possible. We have groups that meet on different days of the week, areas around Cedar City, and even groups with special interests.
Can I lead or faciliate a Life Group?

We’ll review your information get get back to you soon. We hold regular leader meetings to train, equip, and encourage you to lead a group. You can do it!
